Three places everything flows into
Your Planner gathers every dated task, the Brain maps how it all connects, and Attachments holds the files. Everything else feeds these three.
Everything with a date, in one place
A task in any module with a due date shows up here. Tick it off and it is done in its module too. Switch between year, month, week and day, and filter by module.
Your second brain, on a canvas
Map every goal as its own web of ideas on one canvas. Scroll to zoom, drag to pan, click a node to select it, then tag it and pin files to it. The thinking and the doing, together.
Your files, in with your life
Receipts, warranties, passports, photos and the documents that run your life, kept next to the thing they belong to, or in a private vault of their own. Click a padlock to lock a file with AES-256.
And every other corner of your life
Sixteen modules in one app, not five subscriptions. Pick any one to see it. Turn on what matters, ignore the rest.
Finance. Income, expenses and investment buckets, with a compound growth forecast. The full picture of your money, no spreadsheet, no subscription.
What makes Exsut different
Encrypted, and on your machine
Your budget, journal, and goals live in a file on your hard drive, not a server you don't control. Turn on AES-256 encryption and only your passphrase can open it. We never see it.
Pay once. Use it forever.
Subscriptions quietly add up every month. Most people replace three or four of them with Exsut, for one payment of £29. No recurring fees.
Everything in one place
Tasks, finance, habits, journal, and projects share one app. The handful of tools you switch between all day, in one place. Turn on what matters and skip the rest.
Your data lives on your machine. Not ours.
Encryption is opt in and layered. Lock the entire database, or just the files that matter, with the same AES-256 key only your passphrase can unlock.
Your whole life lives in one database file in a folder you choose, with your attachments beside it. Turn encryption on and the file is locked with AES-256, unreadable to anyone without your passphrase, which we never see and cannot recover. Keep the sensitive files locked even while the rest stays open. It is off by default, and yours to turn on the moment you want it.
- Encrypt the whole database with AES-256. Your passphrase derives the key, so only you can open it.
- Or lock individual files. Each attachment can be encrypted on its own, unreadable on disk.
- Choose how it unlocks. Ask for the passphrase every launch, or remember it on a trusted device.
- We never see your passphrase and cannot recover it. No backdoor, no reset email.
- It stays a plain file you own. Back it up, move it between machines, export to JSON or CSV any time.
Own it forever. No subscription.

Frequently asked questions
The all in one life management app that is also private. A planner, finances, habits, journal, work, a second brain canvas and ten more modules in one desktop app, kept on your machine and encrypted if you want it, for a single payment.
Encryption is opt in. Turn it on and your entire database is locked with AES-256. Your passphrase derives the key through a slow key-derivation step, so only your passphrase can open the file. It is unreadable to anyone without it, including us.
We cannot recover it. There is no backdoor and no reset email, which is the whole point: if we could recover it, so could someone else. Keep your passphrase somewhere safe. You can change it any time while the app is unlocked.
Yes. As well as encrypting the whole database, you can lock individual files. Click the padlock on any attachment and it is encrypted on its own, unreadable on disk, opening only inside Exsut.
No. There is no analytics, no usage tracking, and no account. The app only reaches the internet to check for an update, validate your licence, and send feedback if you choose to. Your actual data never leaves your machine.
Everything lives in one SQLite database file in a folder you choose, with your attachments beside it. You can back it up, move it to another computer, or export everything to JSON or CSV at any time. It is yours.
Exsut has no server, so there is nothing to sync to us. If you want it on more than one machine, point your data folder at a synced folder like Dropbox, iCloud or OneDrive and it travels with your backups. Encryption keeps it private even there.
No. Turn on the ones you want and ignore the rest. The Planner gathers every dated task from whichever modules you use, so it stays useful with three modules or all sixteen.
A second-brain canvas. Map your goals, projects and notes as a mind map, draw links across it, and pin the real work to a node: tasks that show on your planner and files you can open right there.
Your data is a standard SQLite file on your hard drive. It keeps working whether or not we ship updates, and you can always export it. You are never locked in.
Both, on one licence, and fully offline. There is no server dependency for any core feature.
A single payment of £29 (rising to £39 soon), no subscription, with lifetime updates. Try everything free for 7 days first, no account and no card needed.
